Flute Type
A Flute
The A-flute is the thickest of the common flute profiles, measuring approximately 5mm in thickness. It offers excellent cushioning and shock absorption, making it ideal for packaging fragile or heavy items that require extra protection. Its thicker structure provides superior stacking strength, ensuring that products are securely packed during transport and storage.
B-Flute
The B-flute measures around 3mm in thickness and strikes a balance between cushioning and strength. It provides good crush resistance while maintaining a smooth surface that is perfect for high-quality printing. This makes B-flute ideal for retail packaging where presentation is important, as well as for products that don’t require as much cushioning as those packed with A-flute.
BA-Flute

BE-Flute

BE Flute is a double-wall corrugated board combining B Flute and E Flute layers. This combination provides excellent structural strength, compression resistance, and cushioning while maintaining a relatively compact board profile.
